Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
GiftoV3 ("GiftoV3," "we," "us") is operated by Giftworld Digital LLC, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our self-custodial wallet, migration, and related services (the "Services"), how we use it, and your choices.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the GiftoV3 website, wallet, and Services. It does not cover third-party websites or services we link to or integrate with, which have their own policies.
3. Information we collect
You provide:
- Account data — email address and account credentials.
- Identity / KYC data — where required for verification or compliance: name, date of birth, nationality, government ID, proof of address, and similar documents.
- Communications — messages you send to support.
Collected automatically:
- Transaction data — records of migrations, swaps, balances, and activity within the Services.
- Technical / usage data — IP address, device and browser information, log data, approximate location, and usage analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 8.
We do not collect seed or recovery phrases. GiftoV3 is non-custodial: you hold your own keys and recovery phrase. We will never ask you to share them. Anyone who does is not us.
4. How we use information
- to provide, operate, and maintain the Services and your self-custodial wallet;
- to process migration, swaps, and (when available) payments;
- to verify identity and meet KYC / AML and other legal obligations;
- to secure the Services, prevent fraud, and investigate abuse;
- to provide support and respond to your requests;
- to send service and security communications, and (with consent where required) updates;
- to comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights and users.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and consent where required.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf — identity/KYC verification, payment and card partners, infrastructure providers, analytics, and communications.
- Compliance and authorities — regulators, law enforcement, or others where required by law or to prevent harm or financial crime.
- Professional advisers — auditors, lawyers, insurers.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
7. Blockchain and self-custody
You hold your own keys; GiftoV3 does not control your funds. On-chain transactions are public and, by nature, permanent. Information recorded on a public blockchain cannot be changed or deleted by us. Avoid placing personal information on-chain.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some may affect functionality.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, AML/CTF record-keeping (generally up to five years after our relationship ends), accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements, after which we delete or anonymize it.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We also commit to independent audits and, because we hold no user funds, on-chain treasury attestations.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than yours, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, to portability, and to withdraw consent. Some rights are limited by our legal obligations (for example, we may need to retain KYC/AML records). To exercise rights, contact us using Section 16.
13. Children
The Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
14. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to or integrate with third parties (for example, payment, card, or on-ramp providers). Their handling of your information is governed by their own policies, not this one.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
